Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Wiiz Eat handles your information across the Wiiz Eat customer app, the Wiiz Eat Driver app, and wiizeat.com.
Information we collect
- Account & contact: your mobile phone number (used to sign in via one-time code) and your name.
- Orders: the items you order, delivery address, notes, and order history.
- Location: for the Driver app, location while online to receive and complete deliveries; for the customer app, delivery tracking during an active order.
- Device: a push-notification token (if you allow notifications) and basic technical data needed to run the service.
We do not collect or store your card details — payments are taken in cash or through the restaurant's own card payment gateway.
How we use your information
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To process, deliver and track your orders.
- To send order updates and, if enabled, push notifications.
- To provide customer support and keep the service secure.
Sharing
To fulfil an order, the relevant details (your name, address, order and contact number) are shared between you, the restaurant you ordered from, and the driver assigned to your delivery. We also use trusted service providers (for example SMS delivery and hosting) strictly to operate the service. We never sell your personal data.
Payments
Payments are collected directly by the restaurant — by cash or through the restaurant's own card payment provider (e.g. Viva Payments, JCC or another gateway). Wiiz Eat does not hold funds or store card numbers.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing info@wiiz.app. Account deletion is also available from within the app.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact info@wiiz.app. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Wiiz Eat is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
